SEN Graduate Support Assistant – The role

  • Manchester based school
  • Join a popular school at the heart of the Stockport community
  • Offer 1:1 support for SEN pupils
  • Assisting the SENDCo in the daily running of the school to make sure every pupil is catered for based on their individual needs
  • Creating a safe space for the pupils to develop
  • Reviewing and advising on EHCP plans for individual pupils
  • Monitoring progress and keeping track of development
  • Located in Stockport, Greater Manchester (SK9)

SEN Graduate Support Assistant – Person Specification

  • 1st or 2:1 degree, ideally in Psychology
  • Excellent communication skills when advising others
  • Previous experience with SEN preferable
  • A passionate and empathetic manner and consequently a natural affinity to working with vulnerable pupils
