SEN Reception Teaching Assistant – Job Description
- Located in Southwark, SE17
- Great transport links, close by to Kennington Station
- Paid teaching placement £85 – £90 per day, term time only
- Support with specific areas of learning e.g., literacy, mathematics
- Encourage reading and monitor progress
- Support children with SEN on a 1:1 basis
- Assist with the delivery of phonics lessons
- Praise imaginative and creative students
- Work with the EYFS department
- You will also be required to support on a 1:1 basis in Y6 but the role will predominately be based in Reception
- Help create fun and inspiring lessons

SEN Reception Teaching Assistant – Person Specification:
- Minimum 2:1 BA (Hons) degree
- Good A Levels
- Experience working with children/young pupils
- Creative and engaging personality
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Aspirations to work in education
- Knowledge of SEN
