As an SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting pupils in class, utilising the sensory rooms/outdoor play areas, and creating a fun learning environment.

SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant – Role Description

  • SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant – graduate role
  • Paid teaching support placement £450 – £550 per week

  • Support pupils with SEN/SEMH across the school
  • Work closely with the class teacher to identify which pupils require additional support
  • Utilise the sensory rooms at appropriate times of the day
  • Adhere to learning support plans and record progress
  • Act as a good role model for all pupils
