SEN Teaching Assistant

Mainstream school catering for pupils 4-11

Salary – £450 – £500 per week

Monday – Friday school hours

Location: Leeds

What is the role of a SEN Teaching Assistant?

  • Support the student in their work
  • Bring the best possible education for students
  • Help plan out the lessons with the teacher for the student
  • Support them emotionally and socially
  • Create a positive environment for the student to work in

What will I need for this role?

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service is desirable
  • Previous experience working with SEN is desirable
  • Strong academic background e.g a degree
  • Confident personality

Experience being a SEN Teaching Assistant is not essential, but good references, enthusiasm and the will to make a change for the children is key for this role.
