We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sixth Form Tutor to join a dynamic faculty team. As a Sixth Form Tutor, you will provide academic support and pastoral care to our sixth form students, helping them navigate their academic journey and prepare for their future endeavours. Sixth Form Tutor – Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in your specialist subject(s) to sixth form students, fostering a deep understanding of the curriculum and a passion for learning.
• Provide personalized academic guidance to students, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance their learning experience and attainment levels.
• Build strong relationships with students, offering pastoral support, guidance, and mentorship to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
• Monitor student progress through regular assessments and feedback, ensuring timely intervention and support where necessary to address any issues or concerns.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies, contributing to the ongoing improvement of the sixth form curriculum.
• Engage students in extracurricular activities, such as clubs, societies, and enrichment programs, to enhance their personal and social development.

Sixth Form Tutor – Person Specification

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
• Previous experience working with sixth form students, either as a tutor, teacher, or mentor.
• Passion for education and a genuine interest in supporting the academic and personal development of young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
• Commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the school/community.
• Passionate about inclusivity and social mobility.
