Are you an incoming 2024 Psychology subject based graduate with a desire to find a full-time Student Progress Tutor role monitoring the academic, social and all-round development of your case load of students for the academic year?

In this role as a Student Progress Tutor, you will be overseeing a case load of sixth form students whilst providing all-round academic, social and emotional support throughout the academic year whilst being a valued member of the schools teaching & learning department.

Student Progress Tutor – Role Information:

  • Student Progress Tutor
  • Located in Birmingham (B12)
  • Monday to Friday position – Usual school working hours
  • Paid £90 per day during term-time only
  • Multiple online CPD courses available – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
  • Monitoring the academic, social and emotional development of students
  • Managing a case load of sixth forms students
  • Tailoring support sessions around students academic weak points

Student Progress Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Sociology or Neuroscience degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
  • Passionate about a career working within specialist subject
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Naturally outgoing and engaging individual

  • OFSTED graded ‘Outstanding’ sixth form college
  • Located in Birmingham – Minutes outside city centre (B12)
