An outstanding sixth-form college located in the centre of Leeds is eager to add an ambitious, dedicated and hard-working Teacher of Art & Design to their superb Textiles department in a permanent role beginning in the new academic year.

In this role as a Teacher of Art & Design, the successful candidate will be required to provide superb A-Level learning experiences to KS3 & KS4 students utilising the schools modern and broad curriculum. The role is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, with an impetus being placed on subject knowledge and the ability to build a rapport with students.

• Paid £32,500 – £48,500 per annum with TLR available

Teacher of Art & Design – Applicant Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary or Post 16 education
• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
• Good or better prior teaching observations
• Strong academic background
• Excellent classroom & behaviour management skillset
• Ability to build rapport with young people
