The podcast is hosted by Thomas Frank, a university student with a passion for smart learning. In each episode, he covers a wide range of topics such as how to choose the right course for you, how to ace your exams and how to best manage your money at university. 2. The EdTech Podcast

The EdTech Podcast is one of our personal faves and is a weekly podcast covering all things education and technology! Every week, host Anders Aarhus interviews different guests from the industry to discuss the latest news, trends and challenges relation to technology in education. 

Our favourite thing about the podcast is that a covers an extremely wide range of topics – there is something for everyone! Whether you’re interested in learning more about online learning platforms or researching the use of technology in the classroom, you’re sure to find something of interest. In addition, every episode is 30 minutes long making it perfect for listening to on your commute to school or work! If you are looking for a way to keep up to date on the latest in education technology – this is the podcast for you!

3. The School Leadership Show

The School Leadership Show is a popular podcast featuring interviews with a range of leaders in the education field. The show boasts weekly episodes in which each focuses on a different topic related to school leadership, with guests ranging from teachers to politicians.

4. TEDTalks Education

If you haven’t heard of TEDTalks, you must have been living in a cave! It’s like youtube, but full of inspirational people from around the world telling their story. As part of the TEDTalks organisation, TEDTalks Education follows the theme of hosting talks from some of the brightest people in education from around the world.

Luckily for us, they are now available in podcast form! Some are just audio, others are video, but all are brilliant! We can’t pick a favourite, but we urge you to get lost in the rabbit hole that is TED-Ed!

5. Truth for Teachers Podcast

Perhaps our favourite here at i-teachers, Angela Watson’s Truth for Teachers Podcast places the teacher at the centre of the show. Each week Angela, who is obviously an experienced teacher, gives insight on how teachers can streamline their work and live better lives. 

Angela gives amazing advice on a wide range of things such as being proactive in the classroom, how to manufacture a creative learning environment, how to put wellbeing at the heart of your teaching style and the best teaching methods for different types of learners. Angela has been podcasting for six years, so her catalogue is vast and diverse!

Angela is a beacon of support for teachers. She talks openly about the struggles teachers face and how to overcome suffering in silence. You can even submit your questions to her and get answers in the coming episodes!
