Are you a recent UK based Core Subject graduate eager to find a role where you can tutor KS3 & KS4 students in your specialist subject as a Graduate Academic Mentor?

i-teachers are current working with a brilliant secondary academy in the Jarrow area who are looking to find an outgoing, supportive and dedicated Graduate Academic Mentor able to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group support to KS3 & KS4 students inside and out of the classroom in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

Graduate Academic Mentor – Role Information:

  • Graduate Academic Mentor
  • Located in Jarrow (NE31)
  • Based in one secondary academy
  • Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
  • Paid £450 per week during term time before tax
  • Starting ASAP – Remainder of academic year
  • FREE online CPD courses available – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
  • Planning and conducting tailored 1:1 & small group support sessions
  • Creating engaging & progressive learning support

Graduate Academic Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Core Subject UK based degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents
  • Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
  • Ability to build rapport with young people

Graduate Academic Mentor – The School:

  • OFSTED graded ‘Good’ secondary academy
  • Located in Jarrow (NE31)
