i-teachers are currently working with a brilliant primary academy based in the South Shields area who are actively searching to find a dedicated, outgoing, and hard-working Graduate SEN Support Mentor to work alongside their KS1 & KS2 department planning and conducting 1:1 & small group EHCP support for the academic year in a full-time role.

Graduate SEN Support Mentor – Role Information:
- Graduate SEN Support Mentor
- Located in South Shields (NE29)
- Based in one primary academy
- Paid £450 per week during term time (before tax)
- FREE online CPD courses available – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
- Monday to Friday role – Immediate start until the end of academic year
- Planning and conducting 1:1 EHCP support for KS1 & KS2 pupils with SEN
- Remaining calm, patient and supportive throughout
Graduate SEN Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 Sociology, Psychology or Education Studies degree
- Strong academic background
- Prior experience working with children or young people
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
- Passionate about opportunity to work with children
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
