The Role – Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant

• Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant – full-time position
• Long-term role, until July 2024
• Paid teaching placement £80 – £95 per day (term-time only)
• Work 1:1 and in small group-based intervention sessions
• Support with the Year 5/6 curriculum
• Opportunity to work in Y6 as well as Y5
• Promote inclusion of pupils with SEN

About You – Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant

• Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant
• Minimum 2:2 grade in any subject
• Good A-Levels or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN would be advantageous
• Confident and positive personality
• Aspirations to become a Teacher would be desirable
