1:1 Graduate Academic Tutor

  • 1:1 Graduate Academic Tutor role
  • Located in Bradford, West Yorkshire
  • £300 – £350 per week, term time only
  • Monday – Friday school hours, full time
  • Fantastic support department
  • Visible and supportive SLT
  • Easily accessible via public transport links and a large car park for those who drive

1:1 Graduate Academic Tutor – The Role:

  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis
  • Deliver mainly Maths, English and Science topics
  • Support those who are low ability
  • Opportunity to work with those with SEN/additional needs
  • Liaise with the class teacher about progress and lesson plans
  • Promote positive behaviour and mental health
  • Monitor pupil’s progress

1:1 Graduate Academic Tutor – Person Specification:

  • 1st class or 2:1 degree (core subjects preferred)
  • Strong academic background – e.g. A levels and GCSEs
  • Previous experience working with young people – essential
  • Experience Tutoring – desirable
  • Positive and uplifting personality
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
