Perhaps you’re interested in planning and conducting your own 1:1 and group support sessions as an Academic Tutor?

Maybe you want to learn key skills and teaching techniques as an Academic Tutor, before progressing into a PGCE?

Schools across Leicestershire are looking to find talented and enthusiastic recent graduates with a real passion for their specialist subject, and the ability to help support students who may be struggling with their academic development.

Academic Tutor – The Role:

• Academic Tutor
• Located in Leicestershire
• Paid £325 – £350 per week, term time only
• Planning and conducting 1:1 and group support sessions
• Identifying and supporting students weak points in subject
• Being a supportive and outgoing member of teaching department
• Long-term role, no supply!

Academic Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 University degree
• Strong academic background
• Experience working with young people
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
• Desire to work inside of a school environment!
