English Learning Mentor – Wolverhampton – About the role / Person specification

You will have needed to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 degree in English or an English related subject. Ideally this will be from a Russell Group university. You must have gained some work experience working with children, this doesn’t have to be in an educational context. To succeed in this role your organisational skills must be second to none as you will be responsible for organisation 1:1 and small group intervention with students who are finding certain aspects of English challenging. This will be particularly crucial approaching exam season as students who are on the C/D borderline will need your help to ensure they gain a GCSE in English.
