Special Educational Needs

More than a job, an opportunity to build a valued and rewarding career!

i-teachers is passionate about supporting children with additional needs to help them overcome barriers to learning. Given the right support in schools, children can thrive and flourish. We work with mainstream and special needs schools providing critical long term support.

Our approach is different, simply put we recruit for the needs of the child or children and not the school! We have found that this has put us in a unique place amongst our client schools.

Many of the jobs will be support roles, ideal for graduates keen to build their in-school experience before going on to further related study. However we are also keen to hear from specialist teachers looking for a new role.

Each role will vary due to the very specific needs of the child, but we work with schools and children that need help in the following areas amongst others;

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health
  • Dyslexia
  • Language & Communication
  • Profound & Multiple Learning

Personality, temperament and empathy are key in these roles. If you are an ambitious hard working and resilient graduate with a keen interest in building a career, we’d love to hear from you. Your local consultant will be able to find the perfect role for you.
