Academic Learning Mentor – The Role:
In this exciting role you will be key to the schools intervention strategy. You will support pupils who are struggling the most by giving 1:1 support or delivering booster sessions for small groups. Specifically assigned to the department where your strengths lie, you will be working closely with the head of department to monitor and support the progress of targeted pupils.
Academic Learning Mentor – Person Specification:
This outstanding Secondary School is looking to appoint a graduate learning mentor to join their team immediately. You will be given bespoke training and you will work alongside a supportive department within the school. Ideally you will have a Maths, English, Science, Geography or History degree and strong A-Levels.
i-teachers are looking for excellent graduates with a minimum of a 2:1 degree. It is essential that you are an enthusiastic individual who is resilient and empathetic. You must also be a great communicator and be passionate about supporting students from a range of socio-economic contexts.
